What happens on the day?
The day starts at 9.30am with tea or coffee. You will be introducd to your Falconers who will give instructions on safety and care. You will also handle your Hawk before setting out into the countryside for a days hawking. This will be the time to experience the thrill of the chase and seeing these birds flying free. The morning ends when you return to the centre. For full day sessions the day continues after lunch, not included, where you will return to the countryside for more fun. Morning and Afternoon half day sessions can also be arranged for £78.

Availability
Hawking is from 1st October to end of February only.
How long does it last?
Clients get to handle and fly the Hawks throughout the whole session.
Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are allowed, however, there is a charge and spaces are limited.
What should I wear?
Specialist equipment is provided. Country style clothing is recommended especially stout footwear.
Restrictions
Children under 13 must be accompanied by a fee paying adult. clients need to be able to take a brisk walk.
Is this activity weather dependent?
In extreme wet or windy weather an alternative date will be offered.
