What happens on the day?
Embarking at Butler’s Wharf Pier, by Tower Bridge, you will sail east down river passing a variety of different landscapes; the modern façade of Canary Wharf, the beauty of Greenwich, the architecture of The Millennium Dome and technology of the Thames Flood Barrier.
A river cruise can take as little as 2 or 3 hours, or all day or evening as you wish – we will tailor the day to your exact specifications and will be only too pleased to offer advice on how to get the most from your trip on the River. Champagne and canapés, silver service dinners, sumptuous buffets and barbecues – we can create a menu for every occasion.
The finale of the cruise will be the opening of Tower Bridge - just for you and your guests. Whether in the height of summer or during a winter’s evening with Tower Bridge bathed in white light, this will be a moment that nobody will forget. Finally, the trip ends at London Bridge City Pier, where your guests will be free to disembark to make their way home.

What should I wear?
As the occasion demands – dress can be as formal or as relaxed as you choose. Flat-soled shoes please and wrap up warm in winter and bring extra layers even in summer as it can sometimes get cold on deck.
Restrictions
None, however, as our events are aboard historic ships the vessels do not all have disabled facilities, however we will do everything we can to follow current legislation and endeavour to maximise access wherever possible.
Is this activity weather dependent?
In the unlikely event of extremely bad weather (if the skipper decides not to sail) we will re-schedule the event.

Topsail Events & Charters Ltd carries products and/or public liability insurance limited up to £5,000,000 for any one accident and in all. The various charter vessels have different levels of limitation to their liability insurance, further information on this is available on request.
